Pastoral Ministry

A program of study, open to all in the diocese who wish

to reflect on their faith and grow in their understanding.

Over eight Tuesday evenings in October and November, at the Pastoral centre, Limerick; we will learn about and discuss:

• 9 th Oct Baptism and Call
• 16 th Oct Eucharist and community
• 23 rd Oct The Word of God: Scripture is Holy Ground
• 30 th Oct Our Parish: The local church
• 6 th Nov Our Diocesan story
• 13 th Nov Parish Pastoral Councils: why?, how?
• 20 th Nov ‘A law for the people, not people for the law’: Intro to Canon Law
• 27 th Nov The Liturgical Year

All evenings are from 7:30 – 9:30pm, with a 20 minute coffee break after an hour.

* Please note that these nights are initially being offered in Limerick city, this term. We would be happy to offer this content again in county Limerick in the Spring if requested. We hope it will eventually be offered at three locations annually, so all have easy access

Cost : One evening $10. Pre booked in September: 8 nights only $70.
