God, however, does not make people holy and save them merely as individuals, without bond or link between one another. Rather it has pleased God to bring people together as one people. Lumen Gentium (9)

Supporting Parish Pastoral Councils
Two important principles underline how we support PPCs:
- All parish pastoral council members both need and deserve opportunities to grow in understanding of parish, and of their role.
- All healthy groups regularly review their work and plan together the way ahead.
The ‘Sli Philib’ program offers all PPC members, priests and parishioners, the chance to reflect. We encourage all current PPC members to consider attending some of the sessions, and invite all those who have not completed the diocesan 6-night PPC training program to attend all the sessions, at your convenience.
Fr Noel and Noirin are delighted to facilitate annual reviews for PPCs, and to offer training and support as requested by parishes or clusters for their PPCs. Please call us at least one month in advance, so that we can plan together.
